Digitalisation and innovation
DIINNO GmbH is your partner for smart metering: we supply electricity meters, LMN and SMGw accessories and the matching test software – developed, selected and tested for the German market.
Our team has been active in German metering since 2017 – since 2022 as DIINNO GmbH. We supply metering point operators (MSB), municipal utilities (Stadtwerke), electrical contractors and industrial customers in Germany. Our range extends from the base meter (Basiszähler) with integrated LMN interface, through cables, adapters and splitters for the LMN bus, to test and analysis tools for the German rollout of the intelligent metering system (iMSys).
What sets us apart from pure trading companies: we are involved in development and production, not only at the purchasing stage. We select our manufacturers according to technical criteria and support them from the factory audit and sample testing through to approval for the German market. We develop electronics, firmware and software ourselves. Cables and cable assemblies are made to our specifications and with our tooling – our own staff supervise series production on site.
Our name combines the two terms that guide what we do: Digitalisation and Innovation.

What sets us apart
Carefully selected manufacturers
Only devices that meet the requirements of German metering make it into our range. Our own staff inspect manufacturers and production directly on site – not remotely by email. After that, our team in Berlin supports you in German or English.
In-house development
Electronics, firmware and software are created by our own team. We developed our test tools LMN-Parser, LMN-Tester and the DIINNO Toolbox app entirely ourselves. You talk directly to the developer.
Closely supervised production
We don’t simply buy in: for cables and cable assemblies, we are involved in production from design and tooling through to series production. This gives us control over quality, capacity and delivery dates – from batch size 1.
For a company of our size, this cannot be taken for granted.
Owner-managed
Short distances between sales, development and production mean for you: samples within a few days, reliable delivery dates and contacts who know the product themselves.
