Base meter eHZ with integrated RJ12 LMN interface
The EHZ541-i is an electronic household meter (eHZ) in plug-in design to DIN 43857-2 for direct connection up to 60 A. As a base meter (Basiszähler) according to the VDE/FNN specification (Lastenheft), it comes with the LMN interface already integrated and communicates directly with the smart meter gateway (SMGw) without an additional communication adapter.
The LMN interface is available either as an optical interface (OKK) or as a wired RJ12 socket (variant C, e.g. EHZ541-iZEC). Values relevant under German calibration law are also available via the optical INFO interface and the two-line LC display.
